When performing transfer printing of clothing patterns using high temperature and pressure, it is necessary to use a substrate with proper temperature resistance and transparency. Xinhe’s transfer materials are made using PET original films.
The coating formulation is the first step of the production process, and it is also the most vital step of the production. Xinhe has our own coating factory, which is set up to be flexible to develop new adhesive film according to the different requirements of customers, and the formula is unique to our company and will not be imitated by others. With 11 years of producing the transfer films and a long time of experience, Xinhe has strict requirements on matters requiring attention in coating formulation, required temperature adjustment and environmental conditions. While for the quality and ingredients of raw materials, Xinhe also has higher regulations to achieve better ink adsorption, bright color, scratch resistance and smoothing release effects during the printing process.
It requires a long time of development, deployment, calculation, adjustment, testing and other processes to finally ensure the coating formula. Xinhe continuously tests, modifies and adjusts the coatings, and after various times of printing test to get the most suitable films to meet customer requirements regarding mass production will be put into operation. In 2018, we have successfully produced a hot and cold peel double sided glossy heat transfer vinyl S716 through researching and adjusting the formula. Xinhe will continue to develop and improve the coating formula to satisfy the various needs of customers with different transfer vinyl manufacture requirements.
There are three production lines in Xinhe’s coating workshop, and every production line has a coating machine. By using electricity and natural gas as energy, we can ensure the 24-hour operation of the machine and will produce 50,000 pieces of films per day, which could maximize the production capacity and provide better delivery date.
One of the coating machines was bought last year due to the growth of our business, which has excellent coating performance and can evenly coat the films. Our staff will observe and stir the paint constantly to ensure the homogeneity of coating during the printing process in case that there will be some defects such as stains and mottles on the films, and eventually ensure the perfect printing effects. Meanwhile, Xinhe will print a film for three or four times on one side that needs print when we produce adhesive film, and apply an antistatic agent on the back, which also can be flexibly adjusted in accordance with different requirements of customers to satisfy their needs in different regions.
After coating, the adhesive film will be transferred to slitting workshop for cutting into different widths. According to the requirements of customers, the adhesive film will be cut into rolls or sheets they need, and after slitting, cutting is performed, and it can be cut into any sizes to meet customer needs.
Our transecting machine is also renewed, and the new one has higher cutting accuracy to ensure every film has the same size. In addition, we also equipped with two slitters, which can cut corresponding films according to the types of printers that customers use. If customers use automatic printer, Xinhe will cut the four edges of the cut film to make sure that every sheet has the same size, which could increase the precision of the print alignment.
Every product in Xinhe has a clear range of release force, and we will test the release force of every roll of transfer vinyl before shipment to make sure the product is up to the requirement of customers. Our company also has internal printing and transfer testing for new products to ensure the newly adhesive film is in the interest of customers.
